Your gym choice has to be close enough so that you can exercise without having to go out
of your way on the drive home. If you prefer to work out on your lunch hour, then pick out a
location where you can exercise for a few minutes and get back to the job without being
late.

Budget – Find a gym that fits into your budget. Sure everyone would love to frequent a gym
that has all of the bells and whistles; however, these types of upgrades do not come for
free. If your gym of choice has the latest gym and exercising equipment, you will pay for
this out of your pocket in dues. Although you want to have access to the best equipment
available, keep in mind that it will cost you.

Environment – Pick a gym that feels safe and comfortable for you. You might want to
frequent a particular gym because it is touted as being the best in town. However, if the
staff is stuffy or not very friendly, this might not be a good fit for you. Also, make sure that
you find a gym that fits with your purpose. Some gyms are all about socializing and not
exercising. If you are fine with this, then this is a perfect fit for you. However, if you truly
want to exercise, then continue looking until you find a gym that incorporates all your
requirements.

Staff – Pick a gym that has both friendly and knowledgeable staff. Make sure that the gyms
in Hoboken that you research have highly qualified personal trainers who are recognized
as authorities in their field. You also want to ensure that the personal trainers are licensed
and certified. Anything less and you will not receive the workout that your gym membership
guarantees.

John has taken the time to show me proper technique and has pushed me further than I would push myself. He knows what I am capable of and uses that to push me further. I’ve seen amazing results!
